They have been a powerhouse in every format since the infamous Eldrazi winter, but are especially potent in Legacy due to the sheer number of Sol Lands available in the format. Most Eldrazi decks are colourless and rely on explosive starts and Chalice of the Void to lock their opponents out of the game. Eldrazi and Taxes (referred to as EnT) is an aggro-control deck based off of modern Death and Taxes (DnT), which itself is loosely based off of the Legacy deck with the same name. Eldrazi and Taxes players tend to say that their most difficult match-ups are found in decks that play cheap removal (ie. Lightning Bolt, Fatal Push) and particularly, decks like Jund that have access to both.

Eldrazi Displacer is particularly impressive as a way of getting to repeatedly use your ETB effects.
