When Bryggeriet pitched the idea of a large outdoor concrete park, they wanted it to be made by the best and situated at the heart of the city. The City of Malmö were impressed by the sense of responsibility the skaters felt for their scene and saw the value in creating a skateboarding destination in Malmö.

Today we manage the skateparks (Bryggeriet, Stapelbäddsparken, Sibbarp Skatepark, Oxie Skatepark, Kroksbäck Skatepark and Åkarp Skatepark), design and build new ones and organise events (like Vert Attack Bryggeriet has been around since 1998 and it has been a very important step in skateboarding in Malmö and in its region and the rest of Sweden, as it’s been a good example for others to follow.
